Custom Bhutan

Bhutan’s magic touches all who enter this serene, small kingdom. Let us help design your dream journey through its mountains, monasteries and multitude of marvels.

Trip Overview
  • Discover the tranquility and sense of wonder that permeate this tiny nation rich in spirit and culture.
  • Attend a sacred masked dance performed at a Tsechu, one of Bhutan’s resplendent Buddhist festivals.
  • Walk beneath the white heights of the Himalayas on a trek through Bhutan’s pristine backcountry.

Bhutan, “Land of the Thunder Dragon,” is a small Himalayan kingdom unlike any place on earth. For one, it measures quality of life in terms of Gross National Happiness. The king of Bhutan coined the term to reflect his country’s emphasis on the quality of human life, rather than on material values. Bhutan is uniquely motivated to preserve its Buddhist culture and pristine natural environment, and you won’t find urban sprawl, polluted air or a barrage of western media within its borders. You won’t even find traffic lights in its capital city. What you will find is a sacred spirit that infuses the Bhutanese people and the natural realm in which they dwell. From its subtropical plains to the heights of its Himalayan peaks, Bhutan will simply enchant you.
