Together they contain 130 historic monuments including temples, shrines, pilgrimage centers, sacred bathing sites and gardens – sites of veneration for both Hindus and Buddhists. Kathmandu Valley and Royal Chitwan National Park are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with wonders to treasure for all time.
